37 Co-defendants Began Trial in Columbus, GA on July 8, 2002 for Actions on the Ft. Benning base, November 2002 to Close the infamous School of the Americas (renamed the "Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation").
On July 12,
fifteen were sentenced to 6 months in federal prison.
14 were sentenced to 3 months.
7 (first-timers) received 6 months probation.
1 case was acquitted.
