Trained human rights activists are
available to offer educational workshops and/or nonviolence
trainings to prepare for November at your school, church or
community center. We can also provide informative materials, such
as flyers and videos, help you to publicize your event, and put
you in touch with other regional groups traveling to Ft. Benning.

Traveling to Columbus, GA by Car
Columbus, GA is 100 miles Southwest of Atlanta. Take I-185 to
Columbus Exit 1N (Victory Dr. last exit before military
base!). Turn Left at second light onto Fort Benning Road.
Continue to Welcome to Fort Benning sign. Parking is very
limited.

Urge your school to bring you to Miami and Columbus! Make a
proposal to your school administration or student government to
cover the cost of travel. Most schools have vans or buses that
can be reserved in advance. Be sure to include any projects,
presentations or other educational activities that your group
will pursue in your proposal.
